2.5 Months

Wow, where did that time go? Oh, I know, looking into these wonderful eyes...



Ruby is growing like a weed, gaining weight steadily and smiling and cooing adorably. I'm hoping we'll have some time for crafting soon, but so far it's been all about kisses and cuddles.

Well, our little one arrived a week earlier than we expected, at 37 weeks. Overall her delivery, whilst long, went well and we're both doing excellently. We're looking forward to getting home, but might have to spend a couple more nights in hospital.

Baby Shower BBQ

Yesterday we had a lovely Baby Shower BBQ. It was beautiful weather to be outside. We had a lovely group of friends and family, and whilst all of our family and friends couldn't be there, those who were seemed to have a great time. Baby Bartlett was spoiled rotten with many beautiful gifts.

With talk of an early labour due to this, we might be heading for a pre-Christmas baby, rather than a 2009 little one. I need to wrap up work as soon as possible and get some relaxation in before the birth!

Nursery WIP

We've been working on decorating the nursery over the last couple of weeks. D painted 3 or 4 weeks ago, and Mum bought us a lovely cot and change table. I was finally able to move the rocking chair we bought several months ago in, and it is all starting to come together.

I ordered some decals from here, and applied them last weekend. I am really happy with how they've turned out. The bonus was that they were really easy to apply!





Of course, what nursery would be without a teddy bear? This little guy is from my Dad and Step Mum, Jill.
