Things are pretty crazy around here at the moment. I have received some great swaps - I intend to post about them over the weekend.
D and I have hired a skip for the weekend to fill with concrete and other miscellaneous crap around the house....
More news soon.

My Power Colour
| Your Power Color is Green |
You feel most at home in a world of ideas. You're curious and logical - and enjoy a good intellectual challenge. You're super cool, calm, and collected. Very little tries your patience. Your only fear? People not realizing how smart and able you are! |
Passing Time
I can't believe how quickly the past month has gone. I've been settling into a new rythm at home and work and now want to spend some more time on being creative. It's been a month where we have spent about two nights at home a week, an endless parade of work, dinners and family visits (not that I resent these of course) but I haven't had anytime to make things... and I miss it.
I've been participating in some swaps through swap-bot, and although I've been getting things off on time, I feel like I haven't spent enought time thinking about them. I've got two to sort out this weekend, a paper goods swap and one based on the five senses.
I've received a couple of things in the last couple of weeks that I will upload in the next few days when I have got myself sorted. The craft room has been a big mess, but it is slowly coming together (another project for the weekend!).

An overdue Craft Post
I made the Mini Moopy about a week ago and have been meaning to post about it. He's going to live with our new nephew, Zachariah, in Canada. Along with this little stick family of well wishers...

Gold Coast
D and I have been on the Gold Coast for a short holiday. We relaxed, ate great food, had some great wine, slept in, lounged around... and went on the new ride at Movie World.
I hate rides, I don't get excited about them, I just feel morbid dread. D on the other hand is a sucker for them, he loves them, would like to travel the world based on where the biggest roller coasters are... in this we are totally opposite. Whenever we go somewhere that has rides I try and go on at least one scary one (that way I can't be accused of being a total scaredy cat). So this trip I went on the new Superman Escape rollercoaster that goes something like 0 to 100kms in two seconds or there abouts... I also went on the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster which I enjoyed a little more, it was really dark and difficult to see where the coaster was going - a bonus for me!
